Strategic Communications
Message architecture, positioning, and the plan behind it. What to say, to whom, in what order, so that the right people hear the right thing at the right moment.
Anthony Bonamy, Miami-Dade
Strategic communications and business development advisory from someone who has spent over a decade inside Miami-Dade's public sector. From City Hall to Main Street.
Most consultants read the agency from the outside. I spent years on the other side of the counter, moving permits, procurement, and small businesses through the same systems clients are trying to reach.
About
Anthony Bonamy is the founder and principal of AB Consulting Solutions LLC. Over more than a decade in local government, he has worked at the point where public agencies and private ambition actually meet: licensing counters, procurement offices, redevelopment districts, and small-business programs.
He served as Small Business Development Manager for Innovation & Economic Development at Miami-Dade County, and provides professional services to the NW 7th Avenue Corridor community redevelopment effort. Earlier work spans School Board administration, where he drafted an equity-in-procurement policy, a Chief of Staff role at the City of Miramar, and the City of North Miami's Business Tax Division, where he helped streamline the licensing process for local businesses.
He was one of the youngest board directors in the history of the North Miami Chamber of Commerce. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
What I do
Message architecture, positioning, and the plan behind it. What to say, to whom, in what order, so that the right people hear the right thing at the right moment.
Earned media, spokesperson support, and reputation work for organizations and leaders who need to be understood clearly, especially when the stakes are high.
Navigating permitting, procurement, and agency processes from the inside out. I know how these offices actually work, and how to get a project through them without wasted cycles.
Helping small businesses and development partners find the programs, incentives, and pathways built for them, and helping public efforts reach the businesses they were designed to serve.
Building the coalitions a project needs to survive contact with the real world: residents, agencies, business owners, and the people who have to sign off. Trust is the deliverable.
How I work
Before a plan, a diagnosis. What are you actually trying to move, who has to say yes, and what has already been tried.
Every agency has a process and a person. I identify the fastest legitimate route and the requirements that decide whether you clear it.
Communications shipped, meetings taken, approvals earned. Progress you can point to, reported plainly.
Record
A career built across the agencies, cities, and programs that shape how business gets done in South Florida.
